Ted Nugent: ‘Kid Rock isn’t the answer for Michigan Republicans’

Ted Nugent has urged his fellow Michiganders to get serious when electing a new Senator because he doesn’t think Kid Rock is the answer.
The rapping rocker, real name Robert Ritchie, has announced he’s considering standing against Democrat Debbie Stabenow, but Nugent can’t believe his fellow Republican is serious about politics.
The Cat Scratch Fever singer is convinced a state “goofball” came up with the idea of Kid Rock running for office – and he’s going along with the idea.
“My friend Bob Ritchie never thought, never hinted, never mentioned, never gave any consideration whatsoever to running for public office,” Ted tells Newsmax. “Some goofball… just pulled it out of their a** and said, ‘What about Kid Rock?’
“Somebody write this down: Kid Rock ain’t running for squat (sic). They made it up and they’re running with it and they should probably stop…
“Somebody better put their resources together for someone who’s actually running for office instead of this nonsense that Kid Rock is gonna stop rocking and rolling and run for U.S. Senate. You’ve gotta be kidding me.”
