Time Warner works overtime to install new cable connections

Time Warner Cable New York has begun installing cable service in homes on
weekends and has added 35,000 new cable boxes since Sept. 11, the New
York Daily News
reported today.

Company president Barry
Rosenblum, noting that a quarter of the New York market does not have access
to cable, told the newspaper, “We’re concerned that there’s a lot of people
out there who might not be getting the information they need.”

He added:
“You almost don’t want this new business, because it’s coming in for all the
wrong reasons.”
