SNL Weekend Update Thursday

The not-ready-for-prime-time players go prime-time! You can’t rely on sissy-pants CNN to deliver this kind of up-to-the-minute “coverage” on all things political—it’s even rumored that Sarah Palin might spoof spoofer Tina Fey‘s awkward American Express commercials (word is, she’s too “busy” tonight, but is toying with the idea for the nearing future). Even if that doesn’t happen, tonight’s episode (9:30PM, NBC)—the first of three half-hour specials—will surely be inspired by Tuesday night’s Obama vs. McCain part-deux debate. Who won? How big of a problem is McCain’s skin cancer really? Will Tina let down all of her Palin hair and wink her way out of this economic crisis? Tune in and find out!
