Tool break David Bowie’s chart record with first 10 minute-plus Hot 100 hit

Rockers Tool have broken David Bowie’s record for the longest Billboard Hot 100 hit, becoming the first band to chart with a 10 minute-plus track.
Bowie’s Blackstar previously held the record, clocking in at almost 10 minutes long when it debuted at 78 on the countdown in 2016, but now Maynard James Keenan’s group has topped that with their 10 minute, 21 second single Fear Inoculum, which entered the chart on Monday (12Aug19) at 93.
Ironically, at the other end of the chart this week, Lil Nas X’s Old Town Road is the shortest Hot 100 track since 1965.
