Another gift for the remaining contestants: No more Beatles songs!
The two-week John Lennon/Paul McCartney theme gave almost everyone trouble, especially during the second week, but it’s a theme of the past, and tonight offers more song-choice liberty, albeit a little.
Contestants get to choose and perform songs from the year of their birth–which for someone like 29-year-old Michael Johns could make it hard to connect with younger voters. Uh-oh!
