U.K. Survivor refuses to eat rats

Refusing to feast on a meal of cooked rats resulted in the ousting Monday of U.K. Survivor contestant Uzma Bashir Skeikh, according to BBC News. “I just couldn’t eat the rats,” the 30-year-old children’s nursery owner said. “As far as I was concerned, it wasn’t necessary. In fact, only two of us didn’t eat the rats.” Another contestant caught the rats, drowned them in a tin can and cooked them on a fire. Skeikh is the third contestant booted off the island of Pulau Tiga, in the South China Sea, the location of the first U.S. Survivor series. She joins Nick Carter and Jenny “JJ” Adams, who were evicted from the island because they were considered too bossy.
