Muah!: Luckily, Miss Jones and Mr. Darcy are able to clear the air and once they take a break from arguing they end up locking lips on the street for the first time in front of all the passers-by.

8) Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Atmosphere: John and Jane Smith have been married for five years and find themselves in marriage counseling. In reality, however, John and Jane are both skilled assassins working for different firms, both among the best in their field, and each concealing their true profession from their spouse.

Muah!: Wow! Couples counseling does work, or possibly the danger of being a spy is what’s so intoxicating. Either way, it worked for these two on and off screen.

7) Garden State

Release Date: July 28, 2004

Atmosphere: Andrew Largeman is a struggling actor in L.A. and returns home to New Jersey to attend his mother’s funeral. The next day he meets Sam, a quirky, odd girl in the doctor’s office. Andrew is determined to return to L.A. and not let this visit interrupt his life, but Sam definitely has an effect on him.

Muah!: Tragic moments allow people to let their guard down and often tend to bring them together. And when it happens in the middle of a rain storm, it actually makes it all so much more romantic–i.e., they’re so “in the moment” they don’t even notice the downpour. This is something everyone should experience at some point in life. Not just the movie people!

6) Hitch

Atmosphere: Alex “Hitch” Hitchens is a professional “date doctor” who coaches other men in the art of having the perfect date with the woman of their dreams. While coaching one of his clients, he finds himself falling for a gossip columnist who is determined to unmask and ruin the so-called date doctor.

Muah!: Hitch has met his match and even though he hit a couple of speed bumps while pursuing her, these two finally found themselves in the car pool lane and are moving at the same speed. We need to throw out there that the quick kiss between Will Smith and Kevin James‘ almost made our hot list, but since it was a tutorial for James, we opted for the real thing.

5) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Atmosphere: Harry Potter is in his fifth year at Hogwarts school and is completely tied up with battling Voldermont, but he’s all grown up now, and Sir Harry now finds time for the ladies.

Muah!: One of the hardest things to figure out when first mastering the art of kissing is where to put your nose! If you’re thinking about it, then you’re doing something wrong. This may be an awkward angle, but we trust Harry Potter’s technique is just as good as his magic.

Muah!: Well, battling aliens seems to impress the ladies because somehow Sam, the underdog, was able to win over Mikaela’s love. His car not only transforms into an earth-shattering robot, but into a love machine where the two can chill out and get comfie.

3) Never Been Kissed

Atmosphere: Josie Gellar, 25, is the youngest copy editor at the Chicago Sun Times and she dreams of being a reporter. She takes on an undercover assignment, think 21 Jump Street, and goes back to her old high school. Josie’s been so engrossed with her career that she’s never even kissed a boy!

Muah!: Well, her chance to kiss a “boy” is over, but she does meet a man: enter high school English teacher Mr. Coulson. After her cover is blown, he’s a little peeved but he gets over it knowing she was just doing her job. As we see here she still hasn’t been kissed. The wait is grueling–but well worth it.

2) Spider-Man

Atmosphere: Peter Parker leads a duel life and struggles to strike a balance between his devotion to his high school sweetheart M.J. and his duties as a web-slinging superhero. But M.J. is sort of “cheating” on with him with Spidey! I guess you take what you can get.

Muah!: There’s French kissing, Eskimo kissing, butterfly kissing, but upside down kissing?  This is definitely a rare but impressive method that only a limber super hero can pull it off. The sexy scene is even more alluring, in that M.J. has yet to see his face. let’s hope he has no pimples!

1) Titanic

Atmosphere: After winning a trip on the RMS Titanic during a dockside card game, American Jack Dawson spots the society girl Rose DeWitt Bukater who is on her way to Philadelphia to marry her rich snob fiancé Cal Hockley. Rose feels helplessly trapped by her situation and makes her way to the aft deck and thinks of about going over board until she is rescued by Jack.

Muah!: If you’re looking for love, the damsel in distress card will never fail you. Rose didn’t plan this kismet romance, but it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly that the charming Jack ‘happened’ upon her. Hiding away from the others on the ship and their concerns, the two make their way to the bow of the ship, stand up on the railing and steal a long, lingering romantic kiss to last a life time.
