Victims’ Benefit Day at the Movies

Hollywood continues its efforts to help those affected by the tragic events of Sept. 11. This time, the theaters are pitching in, donating 100 percent of proceeds from movie tickets and concession sales today to charities that have been instrumental in aiding victims and survivors of the recent terrorist attacks: 50 percent will go to the American Red Cross and 50 percent to the United Way.
