Concern that reality shows may be rigged, scripted or staged is the number-one worry that viewers have about such shows and is a primary reason given by viewers who look elsewhere for their television entertainment, an online survey suggests. Twenty percent of all participants in the study conducted by E-Poll listed fakery as their primary concern about reality shows, while that concern was listed by 34.5 percent of those who shun the shows altogether.
