With television networks increasing their output of news magazines —
ABC confirmed Tuesday that it plans to add the newsmag America 24/7
to its schedule beginning Friday, Nov. 2 .
Speculation is mounting
among TV writers that Barbara Walters will soon get her old Friday night
slot back again, with the new magazine taking over Walters’ current
place on Wednesdays — or into part of the Monday Night Football time
period when the NFL season ends in January.
