The WB television network has sued Michael Ovitz’s Artists Television Group for failing to produce Lost in the U.S.A., a reality series that had been scheduled to debut on Sept. 30. The network said that Ovitz had promised to deliver the series even after he announced in August that he was shutting down ATG. It also said that it advanced ATG more than $1 million in recent months to help offset production costs.
