Wisin’s baby daughter dies

Latin rapper Wisin is mourning the death of his one-month-old daughter, who was born with a rare genetic disorder.
The reggaeton star, one half of music duo Wisin & Yandel, went public with his little girl’s diagnosis in early September (16), when he revealed his daughter Victoria was born with trisomy 13 – a condition that causes a number of birth defects, including developmental delay and issues involving nearly every organ system.
On Friday (30Sep16), Wisin, real name Juan Luis Morera Luna, took to Instagram to announce the newborn had passed away.
Sharing a black and white snap of his wife Yomaira smiling as she posed beside Victoria, who was kept in an intensive care unit, he wrote, “I thank God for her one month of life, one month with Victoria. Princess Victoria, I will see you again in heaven. I’m in so much pain, God please help me. I want to thank millions of people who were praying for our family and for our Victoria.”
The passing of their baby girl is another blow to the family, as Wisin had previously admitted his wife had been suffering from depression as a result of Victoria’s diagnosis.
Wisin and Yomaira are also parents to eight-year-old daughter Yelena and seven-year-old son Dylan.
