“I’m Not Fluff”:

Jessica Simpson first took the nation by storm with the vocally powerful hit “I Wanna Love You Forever” off of her first album, Sweet Kisses. But Simpson has come a long way from her sweet, subtle ways. “I’m not fluff,” she tells MTV.com when referring to any misconceptions based on her young age. “I feel like I can bring a freshness, no matter what age the person listening to my music is. And I think that freshness and that innocence is something that is missing from a lot of female singers.” Jessica continues to prove her point with her new song “Sweetest Sin,” off her upcoming album, In This Skin, due out August 18.

Movie Tunes:

Simpson recently married former 98 Degrees boy band member, Nick Lachey, and the two are starting a series on MTV called Newlyweds to document their young marriage. While they’re making beautiful music together on the small screen now, they previously made it together for the big screen, with a duet called “Where You Are” for the Here on Earth soundtrack.
