Wotapalava tour postponed

Sinead O’Connor’s sudden departure last month from the upcoming Wotapalava tour has forced the gay-themed music festival to be postponed until next year. Created by Pet Shop Boy Neil Tennant, Wotapalava would be the first openly gay concert tour of the United States, The Associated Press reported. Among the performers were O’Connor, Rufus Wainright, the Pet Shop Boys, Soft Cell, and others. Organizers have said that the festival has been postponed because they couldn’t find a replacement for O’Connor. “We have made this decision with the greatest of reluctance,” Tennant said in a statement. “But it seems impossible to proceed without a complete lineup of artists.”
