Sometimes trees excrete a substance combining sugar and water which we call syrup. What does that have to do with movie news? Amber Heard and Shiloh Fernandez just signed on to star in an indie called Syrup. My super power is connecting the tangents of the world together, bow before me. Heard, as we’ve reported on relentlessly, also landed the lead in the Playboy pilot for NBC (which has yet to be picked up, btw) and if you were one of the dozens that saw Red Riding Hood, you saw Fernandez. Unfortunately, Syrup has nothing to do with pancakes and instead follows the twentysomethings as they climb the corporate ladder in the soda industry. Also, marketing is involved somehow too.
So to recap: Amber Heard, Playboy, syrup and pancakes. This just became my favorite story. EVER.
