Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake take on rock music in ‘Trolls World Tour’

I’ll be honest with you, when the first Trolls film came out I thought it was going to be awful. As it turns out, it wasn’t and people like it, so of course, there would eventually be a sequel, and here we are.

‘Trolls World Tour’ (Not titled Trolls 2 because that movie already exists, and if you’ve never seen it you should) follows Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) again. This time we find out that there are other genres of music, and each of the territories is given a guitar string. Those genres are pop, funk, classical, techno, country, and rock. Rock is the one we focus on, because Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom) decides to take over, so she goes to the other genres to take their string so that rock will rule over all. Poppy and Branch have to unite the Trolls or else all music will be rock.

While I agree with Queen Barb (that’s what make a good villain right?) you need the other genres and I for one hope that there will be a song covering all genres.

‘Trolls World Tour’ releases on April 17, 2020.
