Avengers Discuss The End In ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Interview

22 films.

There have been 22 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (including End Game) starting way back in 2008 with Iron Man. It was literally impossible to fathom how much Avengers would take off back then, but now Billions of dollars later we are at the end. The end of what is the question. Many things have already changed. After the effects of Infinity War, we literally lost half of the Avengers (as well as half the Earth’s population). The Avengers met with something they hadn’t throughout their entire film franchise; defeat. The remaining Avengers have picked up their losses and its time to figure out where do they go from there.

Besides the story, this film is possibly the ending for many of the actors who have been in multiple MCU films over the years, its got to be tough saying goodbye to these people you’ve worked with, characters you love, and fans who can’t wait to see what you do with the characters (and also that fat Marvel paycheck).

In the above interview Robert Downey Jr. reflects on the events of Infinity War, Chris Evans discusses how he felt after the end, Chris Hemsworth talks about how this film is like an indie film with a giant budget, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige goes into where the heroes find themselves, Mark Ruffalo talks about how different being part of the Marvel family is, Brie Larson tells us how this film is bigger than just Earth, Scarlett Johansson explains how Black Widow is ready for whatever it takes, and Josh Brolin is just happy he’s been along for the ride.

Between this and the battle that’s about to take place on ‘Game of Thrones’ I don’t think I’m ready for this weekend.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ releases on April 25, 2019.
