B.O.: Uh, Dude, ‘Watcher’ Rules Again

Moviegoers got bored of watching over the weekend, and they also failed to get hooked on “Bait.”

The week’s only wide release, the Jamie Fox starrer “Bait,” reeled in $5.5 million for second place.

The rest of the Top Five: “Bring It On” with $5.08 million ($50.9 million total); “Nurse Betty” with $4.71 million ($13.6 million total); and “What Lies Beneath” with $2.55 million ($145.7 million total).

Almost FamousCameron Crowe‘s autobiographical tale “Almost Famous” bowed in with $2.32 million in limited release to land at No. 8, while the Gwyneth Paltrow karaoke film “Duets” hit a sour note with $2 million to tie for ninth place.
