When Kirsten Dunst took over as cheer captain in 2000, she already had a number of notable roles under her belt. She'd had roles as a child actor in films like Interview With The Vampire and Jumanji and as a teenager in classics like The Virgin Suicides and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Since then, she's continued to take over the world as one of the most fabulous humans alive, starring in tons of films: the Spider-Man trilogy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Marie Antoinette, Bachelorette, Melancholia, Upside Down, Elizabethtown, The Two Faces of January, and All Good Things. Role: Missy Pantone
This is a PSA to bring Eliza Dushku back. Before bringing the sass as the edgy and rebellious cheerleader Missy, Dushku gained attention as the darker slayer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Since then, she's continued to portray Faith on Buffy and its spin-off, Angel. She had the lead role on the short-lived Joss Whedon show Dollhouse and also appeared in the film Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. She has also had a slew of guest starring TV roles and voice work on animated series and films including Batman: Year One and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.. She's also notably become founder and CEO of Boston Diva Productions and is on the board of directors of THRIVEGulu (an organization aimed to help the survivors of war, including child soldiers, in Northern Uganda).
Role: Cliff Pantone
Before he stole your heart just by brushing his teeth, Bradford had appeared in Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet and Hackers. Since Bring It On, he's had roles in a variety of films, ranging from Cherry Falls and Swimfan to the critically acclaimed Flags of Our Fathers and W.. He also made appearances on The West Wing and starred in the series Guys With Kids.
Prior to winning Nationals and finally bringing the Clovers the glory they deserve, Gabrielle Union had really important roles in She's All That and 10 Things I Hate About You, and, since then, she has become hugely successful. Deliver Us From Eva, Bad Boys II, Running With Scissors, Think Like A Man and its sequel, Think Like A Man Too, Cadillac Records, and Top Five are some of her more recent film credits, and she has also stars as Mary Jane Paul on the BET series Being Mary Jane. Most recently, Union married NBA superstar Dwyane Wade.
After Bring It On, Kramer followed in the footsteps of her fellow cheerleader Missy (Dushku), and joined the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She had a recurring role on the series as the hell god, Glory. Since then, she's had guest roles on numerous shows, including Tru Calling (a short-lived series that also starred Dushku), Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, and House, M.D.. She's the co-founder of GeekNation, producing podcasts and TV shows about comic books, video games, and sci-fi/fantasy television. More recently, Kramer has stepped behind the camera to write, direct, and produce (most notably, the series Film Pigs).
Snobby cheerleader Whitney wanted her sister on the squad, but before that she was trying to make a name for herself on the teen movie circuit. She played Summer in Clueless and 'Ready to Have Sex Girl' in Can't Hardly Wait. She has many, many TV appearances from before and after the 2000 hit film, including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, 7th Heaven, ER, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dawson's Creek, Boston Legal, Heroes, and, most recently The Mentalist. In 2014, she starred alongside Brigitte Nielsen and Vivica A. Fox in Mercenaries.
Before the days of Darcy, Joelson was Miss Coos County 1993 and won Fitness America's Miss Fitness USA in 1997, and co-hosted some show on MTV called The Daily Burn. She's also known for a role on Xena: The Warrior Princess that she's had since appearing in Bring It On. She played an Amazon named Varia.
Before his days as a male cheerleader with wandering hands, West had roles in D2: The Might Ducks, and TV series ER, Smart Guy, and 7th Heaven. Afterwards, he landed roles in movies like Miracle and Forever Strong. In 2014, he made his Broadway debut alongside Blythe Danner in The Country House. West met his wife, Chyler Leigh, in 2000, on the set of 7th Heaven where they each played Jessica Biel's troubled friends. The couple has since had 3 children.
While it's hard to find the most accurate information on what Ritter is up to, it seems he's mostly stepped behind the scenes and focused on outdoors shows. Ducks Unlimited, Outlanders, and The Huntley Way are some of the titles associated with his name these days. He has also appeared as Randy Linden in the 2006 film We Are Marshall.
Role: Justin Shipman
McMains played Torrance's little brother who probably still makes you want to punch him in the face. He had also starred in Not Another Teen Movie and appeared on TV shows like Everwood, Desperate Housewives, and Monk. More recently, he appeared on 90210 and as Keith on the series 10 Things I Hate About You.
Role: Big Red
Though the thought of Big Red getting angry at us may still sometimes give us nightmares, we still love Lindsay Sloane. We've loved her since before Bring It On, ever since the days on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch where she played Sabrina's bestie, Valerie. She has since had roles in both Horrible Bosses films, Over Her Dead Body, She's Out of My League, and The Other Guys. The bulk of her work has been on TV, with roles on the short-lived The Stones, Entourage, Weeds, The League, Psych, and Drunk History. You can catch her now on the CBS sitcom The Odd Couple.
Carver is the cheerleader whose injury sets into motion the course of the entire movie. Post-Bring It On, Kajlich has found success on television, starring in Rules of Engagement from 2007-2013 and now on Undateable. Before these roles, she had roles on Boston Public, Dawson's Creek, and Rock Me, Baby. She married soccer player Landon Donovan in 2006 before splitting in 2010. In 2012, she married and had her first child with radio personality Michael Catherwood.
Williams is best known as one third of the R&B girl group Blaque. Since Bring It On, she's continued to work on her music career. Blaque has had some troubles with its members, which also upset Willams' plan for a solo album. In 2011, she released her first solo single, "Love It," and was planning to release an album in 2014 that never came.
Roles: Aaron & Jenelope
Both Hillman and Reed have unfortunately passed away since Bring It On was released. Hillman, who previously had roles in Detroit Rock City Boys and Girls, went on to have smaller roles in films like Legally Blonde before he passed away of unspecified causes in 2009. He was 34 years old.
Reed was best known for her work with R&B group Blaque. She contributed her own raps to the group's songs and was a protégée of the late Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes. Reed passed away in 2012, two days before her 33rd birthday, when she was hit by a car while crossing a street and talking on the phone.
