Brosnan to Star in ‘Thomas Crown Affair’ Sequel

Pierce Brosnan is planning to reprise his role as a high-class art thief in a sequel to 1999 thriller The Thomas Crown Affair.

Brosnan played a cat-and-mouse game with an investigator played by Rene Russo in the movie, a remake of a 1968 film starring Steve McQueen.

More than a decade on, Brosnan reveals that a screenplay has been written for a follow-up, and he’s weighing a deal with studio bosses.

The former 007 star tells, “We have a script and a structure that is good and I hope we can do it, but it’s not a definite.”
