Emma Stone to Go ‘Gangster’ Alongside Gosling, Penn?

Emma Stone, quite possibly the most in-demand actress du jour, is eying The Gangster Squad, which would reunite her with both Ryan Gosling and director Ruben Fleischer.

Stone is in talks to play Jean, a pretty young thing whose affection is vied for by Sean Penn (playing a mobster) and Gosling (playing a detective), in the upcoming crime-y period piece.

Gangster Squad is to be helmed by Stone’s Zombieland director, Fleischer, and the film would also reteam her with Gosling, her costar in this week’s Crazy, Stupid, Love.

The actress will also be starring in next month’s The Help. And, oh yeah, next summer’s The Amazing Spider-Man. But other than that, her schedule’s clear.
