Ferrell and Reilly Team Up Again For ‘Holmes & Watson’

There are things that just go together.

Peanut butter and Jelly. Spaghetti and Meatballs. Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. Will Ferrell and John C Reilly.

Ferrell and Reilly first teamed up in 2006’s Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and then again in  2008’s Step Brothers. Now 10 years later the duo team up to be the world’s greatest detective duo, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. Don’t worry, the guys don’t take themselves seriously.

Holmes & Watson have been invited to meet Queen Victoria. Ferrell is the serious, yet dumb while Reilly is an absolute idiot. A murder happens in Buckingham Palace, and due to a letter by famed Holmes nemesis Moriarty (Ralph Fiennes), the two must find out who did the killing in four days or else the Queen will die.

Overall the film looks funny and likes to joke about the old times and new, making fun of selfies and women doctors, and with the pair of Ferrell and Reilly, you really can’t go wrong.

‘Holmes & Watson’ releases December 21, 2018.
