Final Trailer for ‘Tenet’ Features “The Plan” from Travis Scott

Tenet is coming out, and I still don’t know much about it.

The official synopsis reads like this:

Armed with only one word—Tenet—and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.

Not time travel. Inversion.

Not even that tells you much. John David Washington’s character doesn’t even have a name, he’s just the protagonist. The film also stars Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Martin Donovan, Fiona Dourif, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Himesh Patel, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh. That’s about it. The trailer doesn’t tell you much, and here’s the thing.

That’s ok.

It’s ok to go into a Christopher Nolan film not knowing much about it. You might be confused, hopefully, they will explain it. But you know it’s going to be a ride, with awesome locations and a thrill. Hopefully, fans are ready.

‘Tenet’ is in early access screenings from August 31 – September 2, and releases in open theaters on September 3, 2020.
