Toothsome Chocolate Factory, Universal, 031616

Golden tickets for everyone! Whether you’re obsessed with 1971’s original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, or you fell in love with Johnny Depps 2005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we know that you’ve fantasized about winning a golden ticket, and tasting all of the delightful treats in the factory. Luckily, our fantasies are about to become reality. Universal Studios is blessing our lives and opening Toothsome Chocolate Factory. Apparently, the restaurant is going to pay homage to the factories in the films. Here’s what we know so far:

Toothsome Chocolate Factory Interior, Universal, 031616-

The restaurant will be located at Universal City Walk so you won’t even need to pay Universal theme park admissions prices to access it.

While the restaurant isn’t directly affiliated with either film, it will include the “smoke stacks, funky gadgetry, and staff wearing unique Steampunk fashion” from the movies. The best part of course, is that guests will get the the opportunity to see how many of the chocolate creations are made.

What on the menu?

The food is obviously the most important part, and the restaurant is going to have a whole lot more than chocolate for guests to indulge in. First and foremost, there will be all-day brunch (which is really all anyone ever needs in life.) The menu will also include, steak, seafood and pasta entrees, gourmet burgers and sandwiches as well as scrumptious salads.  The desert menu will consist of several different types of milkshakes including one with a slice of pie on top. Here are some of the flavors:

Bacon Brittle: A fun twist on a breakfast favorite with bacon ice cream, bacon brittle, chocolate covered bacon and bacon caramel.

Espresso Buzzzz: A coffee lover’s dream with coffee ice-cream and chocolate covered beans.

Red Velvet: A milkshake topped with a Red Velvet cupcake… enough said.
