The brainchild of James Wan, The Conjuring Universe is vast.
Now spanning over 8 films over 6 years with 2 more on the way it’s hard to argue that the franchise is popular. Annabelle is arguably the face of the series, even if it was a spinoff, and it was tough to say where they would go with the series. Well, she’s coming home to in the latest, specifically to Ed Warren (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren’s (Vera Farmiga) home.
The trouble is they have a daughter in Judy (Mckenna Grace). One night, the Warren’s go out for 24 hours and put Mary (Madison Iseman) in charge. She invites her friend Daniela (Katie Sarife) to hang out with them while she babysits, and Daniela goes to the room where they aren’t supposed to be and all of the Conjuring artifacts are and opens the case that says do not open. Annabelle is loose and it’s up to the young women to try to fix this little problem.
In the above interview, Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, and Producer James Wan take us behind the scenes of ‘Annabelle Comes Home’ and talk about how they got involved with the franchise and their want to continue with it while the newcomers McKenna Grace, Madison Iseman, and Katie Sarife tell us about wanting to make their continuation great.
‘Annabelle Comes Home’ releases June 28, 2019.
