Go Behind The Scenes of ‘Adrift’ With Woodley and Claflin

When filming a movie you have a couple of choices.

Film on a soundstage, CGI, or go out and do it. They all have their advantages and disadvantages, but when shooting a film in nature the best way to truly capture is to go out and film. That’s what Director Baltasar Kormákur believes, so he took stars Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin, as well as the rest of the crew to Fiji so they could film their movie ‘Adrift’ in the open waters.

In the above interview, go behind the scenes of ‘Adift’ and hear from Shailene Woodley about why the script made her want to do the film, Director Baltasar Kormákur talks about the strenuous shooting schedule, Sam Claflin explains why he loved being on this set (besides the amazing locations), The woman Shailene portrays Tami Oldham tells us how close to the disaster it was, and Shailene comes back to talk about why being in the ocean made the film feel so real.

‘Adrift’ releases June 1, 2018.
