The problem with sequels is it’s easy to lose yourself from what made the originals special.
Even if you have the thing that people think of, like Arnold as the Terminator appearing in Terminators 3-5, it doesn’t always translate correctly. Producer James Cameron and Director Tim Miller knew that, so with their film ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’, it was time to go back in time before those other films came out and take the franchise back to what made it special. Oh, and get the original Sarah Connor back where she belonged.
