It’s Going To Be ‘A Series Of Unfortunate Events!’ Here Is Everything Coming To Netflix In January

2017 is upon us and hopefully, the new year will bring more joys than hardship. Netflix is kicking off the new year with their new series, A Series Of Unfortunate Events starring Neil Patrick Harris as well as some film classics including Braveheart, The Parent Trap, and Boogie Nights. A Series Of Unfortunate Events (January 13)
Netflix's new series will be the ghastly tale of the poor orphaned Baudelaire children and their escape from the diabolical Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris). Though, Jim Carrey already embodied the evil Count in the 2004 film, this series is supposed to dive much closer into the narrative that eraptured our childhoods. The Parent Trap (January 1)
Back in 1998, Lindsay Lohan starred in this adorable remake as Hallie Parker and Annie James, identical twins who were separated at birth by their divorced parents. When the girls happen upon one another at summer camp, they decided to pull a switcheroo in an attempt to get their parents back together.
The Shining ( January 1)
Warner Bros.
Based on the terrifying Stephen King novel, Jack Nicholson stars in this horror thriller as writer Jack Torrance who after becoming frustrated with his work takes a job as the winter caretaker at the Overlook Hotel. Upon their arrival, Jack's wife and son realize the previous caretaker went mad and they are helpless to stop Jack when he gets possessed by an evil demonic sport. Check out this classic when it hits Netflix on New Years Day.

Braveheart (January 1)
Mel Gibson stars as William Wallace a 13th-century Scottish soldier in this brilliant war film. William leads the Scots in the First War of Scottish Independence against King Edward I of England. Be sure to check it out when it hits Netflix in the new year.
