Jessica Chastain Discuss Strong Women In ‘Miss Sloane’ Interview

To be a lobbyist is a tough job.

Elizabeth Sloane (Chastain) is one of the best Lobbyists around, but when she gets a case against gun control and the second amendment, she switches sides and fights in one of the toughest battles she will ever have, and winning it may come at too high of a price.

In the above interview, Director John Madden discusses Sloane’s obsessions, John Lithgow explains what the film is about and how Sloane gets into this tough position, Mark Strong talks about how she can and will do whatever it takes to get the bill passed, Gugu Mbatha-Raw says why she took on this role for women and Jessica Chastain talks about doing the role to show a powerful, smart, and capable woman, and that’s ok.

Miss Sloane comes out a week from Friday, December 9, 2016.
