Joe Jonas to make drama acting debut in Korean War movie

Joe Jonas and Thomas Sadoski have joined the cast of J.D. Dillard’s Korean War movie Devotion.

The pop star and the former The Newsroom actor will star alongside Christina Jackson, Jonathan Majors, and Glen Powell when filming begins in Georgia next month (February 2021), according to Deadline.

The big-budget epic will chart the true story of U.S. Navy fighter pilots Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner.

Sadoski will star as squadron leader Dick Cevoli, while Jonas has been cast as a pilot in what will be his non-musical live-action debut.

Dillard’s film is based on a book by Adam Makos.
