‘Jurassic Park 3D’: the Bigger the Dinosaur, the Better — POSTER

For dinosaur enthusiasts everywhere, the announcement that Steven Spielberg and Michael Crichton‘s 1993 epic Jurassic Park would be rereleased in 3D was an interesting day. For one thing, the movie is iconic and well-loved by anyone that saw the Universal Picture’s tentpole film all those years ago. For another, with the 20th anniversary of the film on the horizon, a 3D re-release feels like an interesting way to pay homage to a film that was way ahead of its time technologically.

The film has been digitally restored, with the 3D version being released in April of 2013. Therefore, it seems only logical that Universal would start rolling out some publicity materials for the film—like this new one sheet! Revealed on the Jurassic Park Facebook page, the poster features those all-too-recognizable large wooden doors, complete with SUV below and a 3D logo festooned at the top. Just a simple reminder to get excited about a movie that may or may not have defined your childhood.
