There’s no better way to start off 2011 than with some news about The Dark Knight Rises.
According to Ravi Mehta, senior VP of Production at Warner Bros. Pictures, two of the three shooting locations for the highly-anticipated film have been chosen.
“I know they are going to the UK, L.A. and there will be a third city,” he told Scene Magazine.
For those who didn’t know, Chicago provided the setting of the fictional Gotham City in Christopher Nolan‘s previous pair of Batman films. However, right now rumors are circulating that the third city will be either Detroit or New York — not the Windy City. That’s a different story than one that appeared a few months ago stating that New Orleans was rumored to host the shoot. It was quickly denied.
Let’s just be real here. In all actuality, all of this will probably change and no one really has any clue what’s going on. After all, the script isn’t even finished yet! Still, as a New Yorker I’d love to be in the same city as Batman at least once in this trilogy!
