What is the plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home?

Spider-Man: No Way Home picks up after the events of the second movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home. After Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) identity as Spider-Man is revealed, and his reputation is tarnished, he seeks help from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to turn back the clock. Unfortunately, rather than fix things, this brings more destruction and chaos to Peter’s world. Peter must then figure out what it really means to take on the role of Spider-Man.

With discussions about the multiverse and changing outcomes, Spider-Man: No Way Home will address the significant problems that arise when someone tampers with fate.

Who’s in the cast of Spider-Man: No Way Home?

The cast of Spider-Man: No Way Home includes plenty of familiar faces: Tom Holland returns as the beloved Spider-Man with Zendaya as Peter’s girlfriend MJ, Marissa Tomei as Aunt May Parker, Jon Favreau as Harold “Happy” Hogan, and Jacob Batalon as Peter’s best friend, Ned Leeds.

Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Marvel character Doctor Strange while Benedict Wong plays Strange’s mystical mentor and friend Wong.

The trailer also announced the return of Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), the iconic villain from Spider-Man 2, in 2004. Jaime Foxx, who played Electro in the 2014 movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2, will also be making an appearance.

Twitter users pointed out a laugh that sounded very similar to Willem Dafoe towards the end of the trailer. Could the actor be reprising his role as the Green Goblin from the original 2002 Spider-Man Trilogy? Time can only tell.

With the return of all of these villains, many fans hope that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield come back and team up with Tom Holland for the film. Because there has been no confirmation yet, audiences must wait until the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

When is Spider-Man: No Way Home coming to movie theaters?

While Marvel and Sony have blessed us with the new trailer, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film is set to release in theaters on December 17, 2021. It’ll be like receiving our own holiday present!
