
Monday Daily Box Office Rally
First Place – Director Oliver Stone‘s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was the top film of the weekend and is the top film on Monday with $1.7 million. With Michael Douglas as Gordon Gekko and co-starring Shia LeBeouf, the film has now crossed the $20 million mark.
Second Place – Director Ben Affleck’s The Town continues to impress audiences and heists $1.4 million from some 2,885 theaters. The crime thriller, which also stars Jeremy Renner and Jon Hamm, has now crossed the $50 million mark in just 11 days of release.
Third Place – The Owls have it as director Zack Snyder‘s Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole grabs third place with $827k and has a four day cumulative total of $16.9 million.
