NYCC 2010: Sony Pictures ‘Green Hornet’ Interview

Sony Pictures The Green Hornet has been a long time coming. Originally slated for a summer 2010 bow, the film – which stars Seth Rogen and Jay Chou as masked crime fighters – has been pushed back numerous times to provide director Michel Gondry an ample period of post-production to perfect his picture. With little more than a fast-paced teaser trailer to sate my appetite for the kung-fu action comedy, I began to wonder what the finished product would look like.

Luckily for me, the studio brought the Hornet’s burly vehicle The Black Beauty to the New York Comic Con at the Jacob Javits Center last weekend, along with converted 3D footage from the forthcoming film. I got the opportunity to talk to a kind and knowledgeable Sony representative name Matthew Ford about his thoughts on the movie, The Black Beauty and the nationwide tour that he’s taking part in to spread the word about The Green Hornet.

Check out my exclusive interview below and be sure to catch The Green Hornet when it blasts its way into theaters on January 14th 2011.
