Scarlett Johansson believes fans with be satisfied with her upcoming Black Widow spin-off movie.
In Avengers: Endgame, fans assumed the actress was bowing out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), as the popular character sacrificed her life to help save the world.
However, the upcoming flick is set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and the previous Avengers film Infinity War, and will explore the personal adventures and journey for the character – and Scarlett is more than happy to give fans what they want if it means she gets “closure” from the role.
“I don’t know if I can take it anymore without any closure,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the Los Angeles premiere of her World War II dramedy Jojo Rabbit on Tuesday (October 15, 2019). “It’s too exhausting.”
The star has already wrapped filming for the movie, and went on to tease: “I love it. I’m so proud of what we made. Now we get to sprinkle the magic all over it. Get it ready for audiences.”
Black Widow debuts in cinemas on May 1, 2020.
