It’s now been a while since Avengers: End Game and we’re all kind of wondering where the Marvel Cinematic Universe will go next. We got ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ which dealt with life immediately after everyone returns, but where’s the next step?
Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out, but luckily a (spoiler) deceased Avenger is coming back to tell her story.
‘Black Widow’ the movie takes place in-between Civil War and Infinity War at a time that Natasha Romanoff had some questions about her past that needed to be answered. She was always the lone wolf who had a more mysterious past than the rest of the Avengers, and this movie goes back to tell her backstory. Natasha returns to where she was trained, meets up with sister Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and the two teams up to go back to where they started, most likely to destroy it.
I don’t know much about Natasha’s back story, but I can tell you already I like David Harbour’s character Alexei Shostakov AKA Red Guardian already.
‘Black Widow’ releases on May 1, 2020.
