But it probably won’t be his next project, or even the one after that. So this is the one we’re supposed to be supremely excited about, because we get to see Cera’s waif body knock out Jason Schwartzman and Mae Whitman, and watch as he fights with the A+B+B+B punches we somehow couldn’t ever master, even though we were so good at getting our skaters to do 1080’s in a Tony Hawk game. But whatevs, this is a video game movie, where the task at hand seems impossible if your timing isn’t impeccable and you’ll have to go all the way back to the beginning if you get too cocky and think you don’t have to save your game because you totally have 10 lives left and last time you played, you knocked out Bowser and his fire chains with 2 lives to spare. (If there’ve been video game developments since then, I apologize because I do not know of them. The invention of the Tamagotchi meant my Nintendo Entertainment System and my N64 went in the closet.)
