If you’re a big comic book fan you’re probably gearing up for a midnight screening of The Avengers right now, but don’t forget that there’s another super hero movie coming out this summer. No, not The Dark Knight Rises or Men in Black 3. We’re talking about The Amazing Spider-Man, the reboot starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.
Apparently, it is possible to be even more excited for the latest Spidey installment. The new footage includes more wisecracking from Peter Parker and shots of Spider-Man dangling from a bridge while holding a burning van (which should look even more amazing in 3-D). Best of all, we get a better look at Spider-Man doing battle with Lizard. So hold off on those visions of Iron Man and Thor dancing in your head and check out the new trailer below!
The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters on July 3, 2012.
