After all the fuss in order to get the story that sets up the Lord of The Rings trilogy off the ground, production on The Hobbit is finally underway. It all started yesterday in New Zealand where the two films based off of the original novel will be filmed. While we’ve not yet got a glimpse of Martin Freeman as the famous Bilbo Baggins or any of the returning cast in their familiar Middle Earth garb, we do have a look at something else that should be a bit familiar: director Peter Jackson in the Shire. This should whet your appetite — because clearly none of us are excited enough as it is.
