See the Trailer for the final season of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’

The Star Wars universe is vast and goes so much farther than the movies.

Most recently on TV (Specifically Disney+), there was ‘The Mandalorian’, or as some might call it “The Baby Yoda TV Show”. Fans of Star Wars fell in love with their animated series called ‘The Clone Wars’. It told the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi (James Arnold Taylor), his Padawan Anakin Skywalker (Matt Lanter) and his Padawan, and new to the Star Wars stories Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein). For those unfamiliar with the series the timeline is after Attack of the Clones (Episode II) but before Revenge of the Jedi (Episode III). Season 1-5 was on Cartoon Network with Season 6 on Netflix, and then canceled. Fans loved this show, but it had no resolution; that is until San Diego Comic-Con in 2018 when Lucasfilm announced the show would return to a final Season on Disney+.

I’ll be honest with you, I haven’t seen this show (I know it’s on my list, I just haven’t gotten around to it). After watching this trailer I can’t tell you anything about where we find ourselves in the story, but I love that this kid’s show has moral questions about why people fight. I can be happy for fans that have resolution, and more happy for me that I won’t have to wait and wonder if there will be a proper ending.

Even for the Jedis that survive, it won’t end well after order 66 goes up (spoiler alert).

‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ last season streams February 21, 2020, on Disney+.
