Spidey Goes International In ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Trailer

Peter Parker has dealt with a lot.

High school, space travel, turning to dust, whatever that will happen in End Game, then public appearances. It’s a lot, so when a class trip to Europe comes up he gladly takes it. Some vacation, some time with MJ (Zendaya), things will be better.

Unfortunately for him, you can take the Spider-Man out of Brooklyn but you can’t take the trouble from the world. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson, good to see he survived apparently) finds him and there’s some trouble he needs to deal with. What appears to be Sandman and Hydroman are causing chaos and Fury need Spider-Man to deal with them. That is until Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) appears to defeat those foes (yes he does have the fishbowl).

The trailer is awesome and fun, and Mysterio was always one of my favorite villains, although difficult to portray if you know anything about the character (No spoilers but I wish I could say more). Gyllenhaal looks to be a great choice for it.

‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ releases July 5, 2019.
