Stars Praise Donald Sutherland at Governors Awards


The Governors Awards are a lifetime achievement award that has recently gotten a lot bigger. It used to be part of the Oscars but now has a grand presentation of honorary Oscars. There are no competitions, so it’s a night to relax and praise those that came before us. This year the honorees are Charles Burnett, Owen Roizman, Agnès Varda, and the man we are taking a closer look at today, Donald Sutherland.

Donald Sutherland has a career that’s lasted for years with over 200 credits and many great performances, yet he’s never received an Academy Award until now.
