Taylor Swift & Andrew Lloyd Webber team up for new Cats song

Taylor Swift has teamed up with Cats composer Andrew Lloyd Webber to write a new song for the stage musical’s movie adaptation.

As a result, the pop star will be eligible for the Best Original Song award at the 2020 Academy Awards.

Beautiful Ghosts will be performed by ballet star Francesca Hayward in the film, while Taylor will sing the tune over the end credits, according to Variety.

Taylor plays the role of Bombalurina in the upcoming movie musical.
