San Diego Comic-Con audiences got the first look at footage from Marvel’s upcoming superhero epic, Thor, but now you can see it for yourself. The Comic-Con trailer has hit the net, although not in the 3D form in which it was streamed, and it looks better than expected. Kenneth Branagh is going to have a difficult time reconciling the fantastical Asgard with the rapidly-expanding Marvel universe, but, judging by the trailer, he’s committed to trying. But more importantly, the trailer confirmed that Chris Hemsworth looks great without a shirt.
The video isn’t an official Marvel release, so it’s only a matter of time until they pull it down. Though Marvel may be behind it, the extra publicity is exactly what Thor needs, since their prior photo releases and publicity attempts have garnered a seriously mixed reaction. So watch the trailer while you can, or YOU ARE AN OLD MAN, AND A FOOL.
