On the opening day of Disney/Pixar’s latest box-office juggernaut, the critically-acclaimed family adventure Up, Hollywood’s reigning computer-animation powerhouse teased us with a glimpse of their next blockbuster, Toy Story 3. Like a star wide receiver high-stepping en route to the end zone, Disney/Pixar couldn’t resist a little showboating, releasing a teaser trailer for their summer 2010 release that serves notice that their unprecedented streak of hits ain’t stopping any time soon.
All the familiar Toy Story characters are represented in the trailer, including Woody (Tom Hanks), Hamm (John Ratzenberger), Mr. Potato Head (Don Rickles) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen). Avatar, shmavatar; Toy Story 3 will be the big release of next summer.
Toy Story 3 opens June 18, 2010.
