The actress, 41, is currently in an Orange County, California, detention center following her arrest at a Hollywood apartment, federal authorities have confirmed.
Jim Hayes, a field office director for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, says, “She was very calm. She gave no resistance.”
Victoria, daughter of former Bond girl Britt Ekland, was a permanent resident in the United States until April 2002, until an immigration judge ordered her deportation due to a previous criminal conviction.
Hayes confirms Victoria has spent the past four years living as an illegal immigrant in the U.S.
In the 1990s, Victoria was sentenced to 13 days in jail for receiving stolen jewelry and spent another 120 days behind bars for drug-related charges.
