Moan all you want about Warren Beatty making a Dick Tracy sequel, but when you realize that dude is kind of a dick and basically pretending to make a movie so he can keep the rights to the characters you’ll calm down a bit.
So, when he says that he’s working on making a sequel and the only thing holding him up is his desire to “get it right” he’s basically just buying time. For what? Who knows. Maybe he just likes having the rights to some character that he made into a movie over two decades ago. Maybe he likes having something that someone else wants. Who knows. He’s too old for the character and we don’t want another Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, do we?
