It’s time to slip on your favorite pair of Manolos and fix yourself a Cosmo. Sex And The City 3 is officially happening! Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall have all signed on to reprise their roles in New York’s most iconic group of BFFs.

According to a source who spoke to Radar, “All the women are officially signed up for SATC movie 3. The deal is done, and the script has been approved by all the women.”

Rumors of a third Sex And The City movie have been kicking around Hollywood pretty much since the second film hit theaters. Earlier this year, SJP sort of hinted at the possibility, though she said it wasn’t on table at that exact moment. Little did we know that she probably said that because she hadn’t yet approved the script.

Parker, who’s been busy starring in her new HBO series Divorce, wasn’t too fond how the Sex And The City 3 script portrayed the now middle-aged group of friends.

“There was a lot of back and forth,” claimed the insider. “Sarah Jessica Parker was not originally on board because she didn’t like the idea of the characters being portrayed in a more mature light.”

Of course, a SATC without Carrie just couldn’t happen. The character narrates the series. Luckily with a few tweaks, all parties agreed.

“The full green light for Sex and the City 3 the movie is really new. Everyone’s happy with how things have turned out and they can’t wait to get started working together again,” said the source.

Shooting for SATC 3 is set to begin this summer.
