As we’ve said many times before, be warned: you’re going to be getting a lot of news reports about big names joining New Year’s Eve, the evil bastard sequel to the already pretty evil and bastardy Valentine’s Day. The added trio we have today is Zac Efron, Halle Berry and Sarah Jessica Parker because sure, why not? They have the honor of joining other folks in Hollywood who needed a check that we previously reported: Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Biel, Lea Michele and Abigail Breslin.
Parker would be playing Abigail Breslin’s mother which I’m sure just thrills Breslin. Berry will be playing a caterer because after all, an Oscar winning beautiful African American actress can really show her range by whisking away. Efron will play a bike messenger that has something to do with Pfeiffer’s character but let’s be honest, if we reported more on the characters and how they’re related to each other, that would take away about 57% of the entire movie. And we would absolutely hate to do something like that.
